Today I am in the midst of one of the biggest RESETs of my professional career. Nearing the end of April, I am settling in to my new reality of select independent Studio work at my Home Shop in Woodstock, as the dust settles from the enormous challenge of disassembling our 9000 sq. ft operations in Chamblee. It was an enormous, impassioned undertaking for me to try and create the platform for my CoOperative Experiment that unfortunately was not a profitable pursuit. I have no doubt, large shared Collective spaces for Artisans are the wave of the future, but many factors played against me in that particular space and time.
Southern Restorations will continue to provide select, concierge Restoration services on a much more restricted availability for the foreseeable future. I am pursuing more onsite restoration opportunities and believe I alone can provide a much more diverse and professional service than my peers in any shop in this city, as a result of my years of service in this artistic pursuit. Many items are damaged and needlessly moved from their restful location in your home or business and I believe I can bring to you often the talent and integrity to serve without disrupting the sanctity of your living space for weeks and months if you can wait for my service..
Marching on…
