OK Folks, It is a new era for Southern Restorations, heading back to my roots…
The CoOperative in Chamble I closed down End of March 2019, following a promise I made to my Fiance, Victoria almost 2 years prior….”If we are not Profitable by year end, 2018, I would do something else…, and so it has come to pass. Years of throwing money at an operation I realized I was trying to build for others was not supporting me or my family. As hard as I tried to staff the place with Artisans and Craftsman of true Grit and Integrity was not being fruitful. We are a dying breed of Artisans and as much as I believe a Collective work environment of shared space and overhead can work, it was not to be in that space. Riding a handshake lease and uncertain future of the location did not coax the talent I had hoped for and some who did join as ‘All In’, just weren’t.
No fear my wonderful Client following, I am now in a Private Studio near my home in Woodstock and will continue to serve, now doing the work I love myself, to my standards and the standards you all deserve, consistently. My schedule is constantly full and I will do the best I can to serve all those who came to appreciate us and follow us for years and years, and will just have to ask for everyone’s patience in getting your needs met. I will do much more onsite work to levels of service not met by any other artisan in the Atlanta area. Not moving furniture and allowing the frequent damage to ensue will be a welcome reversal of trends in our business segment. With my vast skill-set, I will work to provide more service in home and at your businesses and release you from the lengthy warehouse stays of your belongings.
Stay tuned for more on our new adventure moving forward, keeping the Trades alive!
